Tell your guests to get their cameras ready because it's all about grabbing a prop and taking photos with these characters. With each character having a rich life history guests are welcome to ask questions and interact with the character.

These OC Cosplay (Original Character Costume Play) characters are all my original creations, based on my ancestry and imagination. Choice of character includes mermaid, pirate, English lady, witch or fairy - each is elaborately costumed and accompanied by an escort. Character* can stroll around your event or we can set up a decorated scene with a backdrop and take photos in a set location. *Mermaid cannot walk so a set location is required.

Although I am multi-talented, I haven't figured out how to clone myself just yet so only one character is available at a time.

Since I portray the character you hire I can also do henna at your event in costume for an added fee.

Ahhh, the infamous Jane Laplode, Captain of the Sea Witch. Take heed that she doesn't steal your treasure. And guard your heart - she's been known to break a few. (She's been sailing since childhood so she knows her Cat's Head from her Halyard. Pirating the high seas searching for her father.)

Netsea is a live swimming mermaid who grew up in the ocean. Ask her about sea creatures and she'll tell you all about her friends.

Fen is a fairy of the dark forests where few dare to venture. She guards the eggs of dragons while they hunt for prey and treasure.

Mermaids hold our breath to dive like sea turtles, whales and dolphins. My static breath-hold time is 2 1/2 minutes.

Of course! We have the same bone structure as you. Could you imagine us trying to walk without knees when we transform into our human forms?

No, my dad is a retired marine police sergeant and my mom was a mermaid. They bumped into each other one day while clamming.

why does your tail change?

Similar to cuttlefish, we can change the shape and color of our tail based on how we're feeling, if we want. Red means I'm being bold or brave, turquoise is fun-loving and green is me feeling adventurous.

Why live in the mountains?

The ocean is dangerous for marine life due to over-fishing, pollution and rising sea temperatures. I'm one of the lucky ones because I have the option to live in the Catskill Mountains. It's safer but I miss the ocean and go back when I can.
